Rare Carborundum vase designed by Erik Höglund. Produced by hand at Boda glassworks. The carborundum glass was achieved by throwing silicone carbide into the glass mass before blowing the vase creating an iridescent effect in the blue glass. The technique was only done for a few years. Very good vintage condition with few signs of age related wear and light patina.
