Resting chair model 36 designed by Bruno Mathsson. Produced by Firma Karl Mathsson, this example from the late 1930s to early 1940s. Rare to find with armrests. Made from steam bent laminated beech wood and solid beech wood. New hemp webbing and neck cushion in grey shearling wool, cognac leather buttons and straps. Wood in overall very nice condition. The front legs have been professionally repaired and fortified (pictured).
