Exceptional organically shaped desk from the Swedish Modern era. Designed and produced by unknown cabinetmaker in Sweden around the 1940s. Made from mahogany with a beautiful table top with expressive book matched mahogany veneers and birch inlay around the edge. Eight drawers with organic handles and matching key in brass. The inside of the drawers made from solid oak. The table has an ingenious function where all drawers are locked simultaneously when looking the top drawers. Excellent quality in both material and crafts. Very good vintage condition with light age related wear and patina. Professionally restored.
